Benapole: Detective Branch (DB) arrested a local leader of BNP in connection with a sabotage case from Kamarbari More in Sharsha upazila of Jessore district on Monday night.

The arrestee is Khairuzzaman Madhu, president of Sharsha upazila unit of BNP, confirms United News of Bangladesh.

DB officer-in-charge Mohammad Hashmi said a team of the DB police conducted a raid on the house of Khairuzzaman in the area and arrested him at night.
