27 held in Comilla for illegal entry from India

Comilla: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested 27 people, including women and children, from Keraninagar area of Sadar upazila on Friday for their illegal entry to Bangladesh from India.
The arrestees hail from different villages of Mymensigh, Netrakona and Jamapur districts.
Sources at BGB battalion-10 said 27 people–18 men, seven women and two children–entered Bangladesh in the evening through Keraninagar border near pillar No 2082/2.
Later, members of Golabari BGB camp arrested the intruders as they could not show any valid travel documents–visas and passports.
Assistant director of BGB battalion-10 Gazi Abul Kashem Chowdhury said a case was filed with Kotwali Police Station against them in this regard.
