BBIN Motorcade leaves Bangladesh

Benapole: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal (BBIN) Friendship Motor Procession under the Motor Vehicle Agreement, which had started from Bhubaneswar in Orissa of India on 15 November, left Bangladesh via Benapole border on Tuesday night after flagging off in Sangsad Bhaban area of the capital, reports local news agency.
The motorcade, which had entered Bangladesh through Biluniya border point of Feni from Agartala of India on 29 November, will now go to Kolkata.
The rally is scheduled to end after a seminar in Kolkata on 02 December.
Joint Commissioner of Benapole Port Customs Mustafizur Rahman bid farewell to the rally.
The rally, organised by Kalinga Motors of India, will cover 4,223 kilometres throughout the whole journey.
A six-member team of Bangladesh, led by deputy secretary of Home Ministry Nirodh Chandra Mal, took part in the rally.
