Natrakona: Headmaster of a primary school at Barhatta upazila in Netrakona was stabbed to death on Wednesday morning.

The deceased is Arjun Biswas, headmaster of Monas Government Primary School, also a resident of village of Doshal at the upazila.

The Netrakona police said a man, namely Babul, was held for his alleged involvement in the murder.

Netrakona additional superintendent of police Habibur Rahman Pramanik told reporters, miscreants riding on a motorbike stopped Arjun on his way to school and stabbed him at about 10:00am and left the spot.

Critically injured Arjun was taken to Barhatta Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared him dead, said police.
