Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson Khaleda Zia might get arrested anytime, said Social Welfare Minister Syed Mohsin Ali on Wednesday.

If anyone wants to provoke uprising in the country by spreading bloodshed in universities, he must face justice, the minister added.

He said, ‘Arrest warrant has already been sent to the authorities concerned to arrest Khaleda Zia. Now wait and see.’

The minister made the remark while talking to the journalists on his visit to social welfare ministry-run organisation Moitri Plastic and Moitri Food and Beverages in Gazipur’s Tongi.

Mohsin Ali was accompanied by local lawmaker Zahid Ahsan Rasel and the ministry’s top officials.
