2 more suspects held over headmaster murder

Netrakona: Police on Wednesday night arrested two more suspected persons for killing a primary school headmaster at Manash village in Barhatta upazila of Netrakona, reports local news agency.
The arrestees are Kala Chan, and Hira, both residents of Choigaon village of the upazila.
The Barhatta police officer-in-charge said a team of police conducted separate drives in different areas of the upazila and arrested the duo at night.
Earlier, police arrested a person named Babul in the afternoon in connection with the killing.
Arjun Biswas, headmaster of Manash Government Primary School, was stabbed to death by some miscreants following previous enmity at Manash village in Barhatta upazila on Wednesday.
Arjun had an enmity with Abul Kashem, a member of Asma Union Parishad, over formation of the school managing committee, said police.
Some miscreants swooped on Arjun and stabbed him indiscriminately while he was going to school at about 10:00am, leaving him dead on the spot.
