Mujahidul Islam Selim receives death threat
Dhaka: President of Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) Mujahidul Islam Selim received a death threat through his email on early Saturday.
One Nizam Uddin, introducing him as the vice-president of ‘Mission Jihad’, sent the email at about 12:28am, said party sources.
Meanwhile, CPB presidium members denounced the threat and demanded immediate arrest of the email sender.
In a statement on Saturday evening, they also urged the law enforcement agencies to ensure security of the CPB president.
