4 of a family hurt in Khulna gas pipeline blast

Khulna: Four members of a family, including a policeman, suffered burn injuries as a gas pipeline exploded at Mojgani in Khulna on Saturday morning.
One of the injured is Atiur Rahman, constable of Khalishpur police station, reports United News of Bangladesh, a local news agency.
Locals said the gas pipeline exploded at about 7:15am when wife of Atiur Rahman was cooking.
Just after the explosion, Atiur, his son and daughter rushed in and they also received burn injuries.
Later, locals whisked them off to the burn unit of Khulna Medical College Hospital, said Khalishpur police officer-in-charge Anwar Hossain.
