BSF hands over 19 Bangladeshis to BGB

Benapole: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) handed over 19 Bangladeshi nationals, including three children and four women, to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) through Benapole Check post on early Friday.
Camp commander of BGB’s Benapole international check post (ICP) Nayek Subedar Nazrul Islam said members of BSF arrested them in Joyentopur border area on Thursday night for trespassing the Indian territory.
BSF handed them over to BGB at about 4:30am on Friday.
The returnees include 3 children, 4 women and 12 men, hailing from different areas of Narail and Bagerhat districts, reports UNB, a local news agency.
Later, BGB handed them over to Benapole Police Station.
A case was filed in this connection.
