Cameroonian held for entering Bangladesh illegally

Comilla: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested a Cameroon citizen for entering Bangladesh territory at Keraninagar in Sadar upazila on Monday morning.

The arrestee is Nikli Simd Maiyk, believed to be around 37.

 BGB Battalion 10 commander Lieutenant Colonel Mokhlesur Rahman said a team of the border guard arrested Cameroonian Nikli in the area at about 8:30am while he was entering the Bangladesh territory from India without valid documents.

The border force also recovered 500 US dollar and 24 Indian rupees from his possession.
Later, he was handed over to Kotwali Model Police Station.
