Sirajganj: Miscreants allegedly pumped a huge amount of gas into a teenager’s rectum on Saturday in a factory at Nalka road of Sadar upazila in Sirajganj.

The Kamarkhanda Police Officer-in-charge Basudeb Sinha said the injured boy is Kaiyum, 17, son of Ilias Hossain of Bilgazaria village of Sadar upazila and a worker of ‘ACI Godrej Agrovet Private Limited’, a feed company.

Kaiyum’s fellow workers found him lying on the floor at the mill in severely sick condition on Saturday morning and rushed him to Sirajganj Health Complex.

Later, he was shifted to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital in Bogra as his condition deteriorated further, he said.

Other details could not be known yet, the OC said.

Earlier in 2015, another boy Rakib Hawlader from Khulna was killed in the same way as his former employers inserted a high-pressure air pump nozzle into his rectum at motor workshop.
