Munshiganj: At least 29 cobras were recovered from a Kanakchar house in Louhajang upazila of Munshiganj on Wednesday night.

Homeowner Shila Rani Das noticed the cobras—one mother and 28 baby ones—at her house in the evening and informed local snake charmer Taru Mia.

Taru Mia first caught the mother cobra and then the baby ones from a hole of the house.

Local UNO Munir Hossain said they were taking steps to preserve the snakes.
