Gazipur: Miscreants set fire to a house of a judge at Dhorpara village in Kapasia upazila on Friday night.

Abu Bakar Siddique, officer-in-charge of Kapasia Police Station, said that some unidentified miscreants set fire to wood in the veranda of the house of Sultan Uddin Prodhan, a senior assistant judge of Kishoreganj court, around 10:00 pm.

Later, the fire was doused with the help of locals.

The fire gutted a part of the tin-shed roof.

However, there was no casualty.

On information, police visited the house.
