Rajshahi: Three people including two journalists of private news broadcasting channel ATN News were held in Rajshahi as voting underway in Puthia municipality. Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB) members detained them from Puthia BGB camp on Wednesday morning.

The detainees are ATN News Rajshahi Bureau correspondent Saurav Habib, cameraperson Khokon, and Saurav’s relative.

The Puthia police officer-in-charge said the journalists were held for capturing photos in the BGB camp without taking authorities’ consent.

Later they were handed over to Puthia police.
