When the country along with the Muslim world celebrating Eid-ul-Azha, the day of sacrifice, two more girls of the district allegedly fell victims to rapists on Friday and Saturday.

At Adbaria union in Baufal of Patuakhali, police said, a girl was gangraped by four miscreants while she was returning home after having her mother admitted to Sadar Hospital for medical treatment on Saturday morning, reports the UNB.

Police, meanwhile, arrested a young man in connection with the rape incident.

Yet in another incident at Kanakdia village of the upazila, a young man, Balram Pal, allegedly raped a class-10 student on Friday night.

Separate cases were filed.
