Lakshmipur: A schoolgirl has been raped allegedly by her lover at Char Falcon union of Kamalnagar upazila in Lakshmipur.

Later, the aides of the ‘lover’ uploaded the video of the incident on the internet.

The victim’s father, after knowing about the incident, filed a case on Friday night with the Kamalnager police station against seven people.

Police in a drive on Saturday morning arrested four persons, including the ‘lover’. A computer and a mobile were confiscated at that time.

Later, police sent the arrestees to court demanding five days for interrogating them.

According to police and case statement, the ‘lover’ violated the girl, an SSC examinee, taking advantage of their relationship. The aides of the young man secretly recorded the video of the incident. Later, the video was uploaded on internet on 31 December.

Kamalnagar police officer-in-charge Kabir Ahmed said, ‘The four arrested persons have been sent to court demanding five days for quizzing them. Effort is on to arrest the other accused in the case.’
