Two women killed as miscreants slit throats at Munshiganj shrine

Munshiganj: Two women were killed as miscreants slit their throats at Bareker Nengta’s Shrine in Bhitishi temple area of Sadar upazila in Munshiganj on Tuesday night.
The Sadar police Officer-in-charge (OC) Alamgir Hossain on Wednesday morning told NTV Online, it has been believed that the women were killed on Tuesday night. Being informed police went to the spot and recovered the bodies.’
Details about the incident could not be known yet.
The deceased are Amena Begum, in her sixties, she was the caretaker of the shrine, while another is her daughter-in-law, Taijun Khatun, who was around forty years old, came to visit her.
The shrine’s caretaker Mohammad Masud Khan said Amena and Taijun slept together at a room. He found their bodies lying on the floor, when he came to see them on Tuesday morning.
