Case filed over double murder at Munshiganj shrine

Munshiganj: A case was filed in connection with the killing of two women, including a caretaker, of a shrine at Shilmandir in Sadar upazila of Munshiganj.
Kafiluddin filed the case with Sadar Police Station against some unidentified people on Wednesday.
Police arrested five people, including, Masud Kotwal, and Babu Sarkar, from the shrine but another caretaker, Arif went into hiding.
Alamgir Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said the motive behind the killing could not be unearthed yet.
Earlier on Wednesday, police recovered the throat-slit bodies of the two women—Taijul Begum, and Amena Begum, a caretaker of the shrine.
