Kishoreganj: The slit-throat body of a woman was found at her house at Dawkia Latifabad village in Boropool area of Sadar upazila on Monday.

On information, police recovered the body of Parul, about 32 years old, wife of Shafiq of the village, in the morning, said Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shawkat Jahan.

Later, the body was sent to Kishoreganj Adhunik Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

The incident might be occurred between 3:00 am and 4:00 am, the OC added.

Police, however, detained four members of victim’s family, including her husband and brother-in-law, for interrogation.

Being informed, deceased’s brother started for the spot from Nakhalpara in Dhaka.
