Mymensingh: Miscreants torched a bus of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) at the transport department of the campus in Mymensingh in the early hours of Monday.

A senior security guard of the university, Abdul Mannan, said he called the chief security guard after miscreants set fire to bus at about 3:30am. The chief security guard called the fire service.

Mymensingh Fire Bridged senior station officer Dewan Sohel Rana told NTV Online that being informed fire fighters went to the spot and doused the flame. The bus was completely charred.

A senior mechanic while talking about the damage of the bus said the in 2013 the bus was turned into a hearse, a vehicle for carrying corpse, spending Tk 4 lakh.
