2 buses, AL offices torched in Panchagarh

Panchagarh: Miscreants set fire to two Awami League offices and two buses in Panchgarh in between 4:00am to 5:00am on Monday.

The miscreants also torched two buses parked at Tetulia bus stand in the same time.

Panchagarh fire service inspector Abdul Malek said a group of miscreants in masks torched two buses by pouring petrol on Panchagarh-Tetulia Highway. Fire service unit went to the spot and doused the fire.

Later, the miscreants torched two Awami League officers at Jagadal and in the Tunirhat area of Panchagarh-Debiganj road at Sadar upazila.

Three Ansar members were injured as they were bringing the fire of the Jagadal Bazar office under control. The injured Ansar members are Moslem, 26, Amirul Haque, 48, and Jamirul Islam, 20.

Panchagarh Police officer-in-charge Mafiul Gani said the fire damaged furniture, door and windows of the office.
