DU expels 2 BCL leaders
Dhaka: The authorities of University of Dhaka have expelled two Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) leaders for involvement in fraud related to the Gha-Unit entrance test which was held on October 20.
The suspended students are Mohiuddun Rana, a second-year student of physics and central assistant secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL); and Abdullah Al Mamun, a first-year student of applied chemistry and theatre and debate secretary of DU Amar Ekushey Hall unit of BCL.
DU Syndicate Member Lutfur Rahman confirmed to UNB that the Syndicate took the decision to temporarily expel them from the University on Sunday at a meeting.
Bangladesh Chhatra League also expelled Mohiuddun Rana from the organization on October 22 for same allegations.
