Rajshahi: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) nabbed an alleged drug peddler with 5.5 kgs of heroin from Bhatopara area under Godagari Upazila in the district on Monday, RAB sources said. 
The arrested is Shamshul Huda, about 45 years old, son of Thandu Mian of the same district. 
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid at the Bhatopara station area around 7.00 am and arrested the man with the heroin, a mobile phone set and Taka 49,500 in cash, the sources said. 
Later, he was handed over to police. 
A case was filed with Godagari Model Police Station in this connection.
