Comilla: Police recovered the throat-slit body of a man from New Chowdhury Para are in Comilla city on Sunday evening.

Identity of the deceased, aged around 25, could not be known.

Salahuddin, inspector (investigation) of Kotwali Model Police Station, said being informed, police recovered the throat-slit body of a youth from a rented flat in the evening.

Police, meanwhile, detained Jumman, brother-in-law of Suman, one of the house owners who lives in USA, for questioning.

Police collected sample from the crime scene to detect motive behind the killing and killers, said the police officer, adding that the body was sent to Comilla Medical College and Hospital morgue.
