2 ‘robbers’ beaten to death in B’baria
Brahmanbaria: Two suspected robbers were killed in a mob attack at Hariabaha village of Kasba upazila on Monday night.
The deceased could not be identified yet.
Officer-in-charge of Kasba Police Station Mohammad Mohiuddin said a group of bandits was taking preparations to commit robbery at the village when a night guard spotted them around 11pm.
As the guard raised an alarm, several hundred residents of the village came out of their houses and chased the robbers, he said.
They managed to catch two of the hoodlums while they rest managed to flee.
Later, the angry mob gave the duo a good beating, killing them on the spot.
On information, police rushed to the spot, the OC said.
