Chapai Nawabganj: Miscreants set fire to three trucks in separate incidents at Kansat crossing and Academy crossing of Shibganj upazila in Chapai Nawabganj on Monday night.

Shibganj police officer-in-charge Moinul Islam said miscreants torched a Sona Masjid-bound truck as it neared Kansat School at about 8:15pm. They also hurled 5/6 crude bombs.

Around 11:00pm, a group of miscreants in masks set fire to two trucks at Academy crossing area.

Fire fighters went to the spot and brought the fire under control.

No casualty was recorded in this connection.
