Benapole: Local people caught a fishing cat at Tengrali village in Sharsha upazila of Benapole on Thursday evening.

Local people said a group of twelve people saw the tiger in a paddy field of the village and caught it.

Lutfar Rahman, in-charge of Sharsha’s Gorpara Police outpost, said a process is underway to hand over the tiger to the Forest Department.
