Police on early Wednesday recovered body of an unidentified girl from a suitcase, at a bus stand of Chandna intersection on Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway in Gazipur.

Officer-in-Charge of Jaidebpur Police Station Aminur Islam said that the locals spotted a black luggage that was left abandoned at the bus stand and informed police, reports the UNB.

Later, police recovered the body of an apparently 20 to 22 years old girl from the suitcase along with some clothes, he added.

Primarily police is suspecting that the girl was strangled to death.
