Nilphamari: A man died of severe cold at Sundarkhata village of Dimla upazila in Nilphamari on Friday morning.

The deceased is Abdus Samad, 55, a resident of the village.

The Sundarkhata union parishad chairman said Samad went to a local bazaar in the morning amid bone-chilling cold.

He died on way home because of cold-related complications, he said.
