Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid her last tributes to late Golam Mostafa Ahmed, parliament member of Gaibandhu -1 (Sundargonj) constituency at the South Plaza of the Jayita Sangsad in Dhaka on Tuesday.

The prime minister placed a floral wreath on the coffin of the late leader and offered Fateha seeking eternal peace of the departed soul.

Later, Sheikh Hasina along with her party leaders also placed another floral wreath on the coffin as the President of the Awami League.

Sheikh Hasina talked to his wife, son and other family members and consoled them.

Golam Mostafa Ahmed died this morning at Dhaka Combined Military Hospital where he was undergoing treatment after receiving serious injuries in a road accident in Tangail on November 18.
