Chandpur: Ferry services on the Horina-Shariatpur route resumed after 12 hours of disruption caused by dense fog on Sunday morning.

The authorities of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) kept suspended the ferry services and plying of the water vessels on the route from 09:10 pm on Saturday due to blurred visibility for thick fog, said Parvez Khan, manager of BIWTC at Horina terminal.

Later, the services resumed at 9:00am.
