2 devotees die at Moulvibazar ijtema

Moulvibajar: Two Muslim devotees died at an ijtema ground in the district early Saturday.
Motu Miah, 65, a resident of Gangkul village, and Surnam Uddin, 55, hailing from Boro Moidan village in Barlakhe upazila , died at the ijtema ground in Jagannathpur area due to old-age complications, said Muhibur Rahman, an assistant sub-inspector of Moulvibazar Police Station.
The three-day ijtema began at Uposhahar ijtema ground through Aam Boyan after Fazr prayers on Thursday.
The ijtema is set to end today through Akheri Munajat.
