Chittagong: A youth was stabbed to death by a group of miscreants in Sadarghat Police Station area in the port city on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as Md Ibrahim, 19, son of Jasim Uddin of Rail Colony area under the police station.

Some unidentified miscreants stabbed Ibrahim while he was standing alone on a road near his house around 10pm, leaving seriously injured.

Locals took him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital in critical condition where doctors declared him dead, said Alauddin, Sub-Inspector of Chittagong Medical and College Hospital.
