Bogra: At least five students were injured in a clash between two groups of them at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital (SZMCH) in Bogra on Thursday night.

Witnesses said there was an altercation between the two groups on Wednesday night.

As a sequel to the altercation, the two groups locked into the clash around 8pm on Thursday again, said vice-principal of the college Dr Rezaul Karim.

The five injured –Pratik, Ishtiaque, Shariful Alam, Azad, Rajon—were admitted to the hospital.

Additional police have been deployed on the college compound to fend off further trouble, said additional superintendent of police Sanatan Chakrawarty.
