BNP partly happy over HC order on Khaleda Zia’s bail, says Rizvi

BNP on Monday said it is partly happy over the High Court order granting bail to its Chairperson Khaleda Zia in Zia Orphanage Trust graft case.
‘We’re partly happy as she was granted bail. We’ll be fully happy when she’ll get back to her residence walking out of jail gate,’ said BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, reports the UNB.
He came up with the comment at a press briefing at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office, reports the UNB.
Quoting Khaleda’s lawyer Mahbubuddin Khokon, Rizvi said their chairperson will get released from jail on Tuesday once the bail order reaches the jail.
The High Court on Monday finally granted a four-month interim bail to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in Zia Orphanage Trust graft case.
The HC bench of Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Shahidul Karim passed the order after a hearing on a bail petition in the case.
