4 ‘JMB’ put 5-day custody for quizzing in Natore
Natore: A Natore court on Wednesday placed four suspected activists of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) on 5-day remand each.
The remanded JMB men are—Anisur Rahman Anis, a resident of Arkandi village in Singraupazila, Shafikul Islam and Fazlur Rahman, residents of Chapapukur village in Bagatiparaupazila and JakirHossian, a resident of Kholabaria village in Naldangaupazila.
Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Rabiul Islam passed the order after sub-inspector Abu Sadad of Natore Detective Branch of Police and also investigation officer of the case produced them before to the court seeking 10-day remand plea.
Earlier, police in a three-hour drive arrested them from the house of Dubai expatriate Iqbal in Dighpatia area of Sadarupazila early Tuesday along with crude bombs, sharp weapons and propagandist books.
