Chittagong: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two siblings along with 1 lakh Yaba tablets from Pahartali area of Chittagong early on Wednesday.

The arrestees are Mohammad Mobarak, in his thirties, and his brother Mohammad Salman, in his twenties , sons of late Hazi Mohammad Eshak of BGB Camp (Mobaraker Bari) area in Cox’s Bazar Sadar upazila.

Tipped off, a team of RAB-7 conducted a drive at AK Khan intersection around 12:10am and arrested the duo along with Yaba pills worth Tk 5 crore, Tk 25,090 in cash and a cheque for Tk 70,000, said Mimtanur Rahman, assistant director (media) of the elite force battalion.
