Habiganj: Police recovered the body of a worker from a brickfield in Sonai Bridge area of Madhabpur upazila in Habiganj on Friday night, reports UNB.

Madhabpur police officer-in-charge Molla Manir Hossain said workers of Sonai Brickfield spotted the body of Ratan Bepari, 24, son of Afzal Bepari, a resident of Pashchim Machhuakandi village in Gosaihat upazila of Shariatpur district, lying inside the brickfield at about 8:30pm and informed police.

Police recovered the body that bore several injury marks and sent it to Habiganj Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

The reason behind the death would be known after getting the autopsy report, the OC added.
