Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Thursday issued a Nor’wester squall warning for 15 districts across the country.

The districts are Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogura, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Jashore, Kushtia, Khulna, Cumilla and Sylhet, it added.

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary Kalbaishakhi squalls speeding up to 60-80 kilometer per hour are likely to occur at many places over the country in the next 12 hours commencing 3:00pm of Friday, according to a press release of Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
