Manikganj: Three people, including a truck driver, suffered burn injuries as miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at a truck at Golra in Saturia upazila in Manikganj on Thursday, the 5th day of another spell of 120-hour nationwide hartal, enforced by the BNP-led 20-Party Alliance.

The injured are truck driver Iqbal Hossain, of Koiadi village of Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh, his helper Sumon Miah,16, of the same village and Abul Kalm,28.

Police and fire fighters said the Manikganj-bound truck from Bhaluka caught fire when some miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at it around 4:30am, leaving the trio injured.
