Sherpur: Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque on Saturday said freedom fighters will get bonuses in two Eids from this year.

The minister, while speaking at the inauguration of Muktijoddha Compex Bhaban in Sherpur, said steps has been taken to provide freedom fighters with medical treatment free of cost and the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has already approved the proposal.

This inauguration of the Muktijoddha Complex Bhaban was presided by deputy commissioner of the district Dr AM Parvez Rahim while Whip Atiur Rahman also spoke on the occasion as special gues, reports UNB.

Local Government and Engineering Department constructed the building at Puratan Goruhati area of the town with the cost of Tk 1.51 core.
