Rajshahi: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested three members of banned militant outfit Ansar Al Islam from Belpukur area in Rajshahi early on Monday.

The arrestees are Mohammad Raju Ahmmed, in his twenties, Mohammad Farhad Hossain, and Mohammad Jahangir Alam, residents of Jamira village under Belpukur Thana.

A team of Rab-5 conducted a drive and arrested the trio along with five jihadi books, three leaflets, four mobile phone sets, SIM cards, memory cards and two ID cards, said a RAB press release.
