Sylhet: Three people, including a teenage girl, were found dead in different parts of the district on Friday.

Bandarbazar police camp in-charge Nazrul Islam said a hotel employee was found dead at Sunflower Hotel in Dhopadighir Par in the city on early Friday.

The deceased was, Tera Mia, 34, a resident of Jararkona village in Sunamganj.

Being informed by the hotel authorities, police recovered the body of Tera Mia.

The body bore several marks of injury and his legs were tied up with rope, said police.

Besides, police recovered the throat-slit body of an unidentified young girl aged about 13 at Joypasha area in Kulaura municipality area at about 8:00am on Friday.

Meanwhile, a tea garden worker was found hanging from a tree at Hazinagar Tea State in Rajnagar upazila of the district at about 9:00am.

The deceased was Manua Kal, 35.

Police sent the bodies to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital morgue.
