Gazipur: A garments worker was found dead in a ditch at Joina Abdar village in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur on Friday, reports UNB.

The Sreepur model police said, being informed by local people, police recovered the body of Kalpana, wife of Abu Siddique, from the ditch near to her house in the morning and sent it to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

The body bore injury marks in the neck.

Police said the couple, from Trishal upazila of Mymensingh district, used to live at a rented house in the area and Abu Siddique might have dumped the body there after strangulating Kalpana to death over a family feud at night.
