The Public Service Commission (PSC) on Tuesday announced the dates for the written examinations of 38th and 39th (special) Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) recruitments.

According to PSC, the written test for 39th special BCS will be held on August 3 while the written examinations for the 38th BCS will be held from August 8 to August 13, reports the UNB.

The 38th BCS preliminary examination was held on December 29, 2017, where around 3.5 lakh job seekers appeared at the two-hour long test beginning at 10:00am.

On February 28, PSC announced the result where 16,286 candidates come out successful.

Later on April 8, the recruiting authority published a circular for the 39th special BCS examination seeking applications against 4792 posts of physicians.
