Kurigram: Around 100 people were injured as rabid dogs bit them at different parts of the district town in the last three days, creating panic among locals.

Of them, 40 were bitten on Tuesday alone while the rest on Sunday and Monday in municipality Bazar, Dadamor, LGED intersection, Matherpar, Razarhat and Dak Bungalowpara areas, said victims.

Devotees while returning home after saying Fazr prayers at mosques and the long-route passengers were the worst victims.

Of the injured, one got admitted to a local hospital while 60 received vaccination.
