Muggers snatch Tk 11.90lakh shooting 2 bKash agents

Dhaka: Muggers looted Tk 11.90 lakh after shooting two employees of bKash, a mobile money transfer provider, in the capital’s Kafrul area on Saturday, reports UNB.
bKash General Manager Zainul Abedin said Mosharraf, and Alamin, collected the money from different bkash agents of Mirpur road no 13 in the morning.
A group of around 6 muggers ridding two motorcycles intercepted the motorbike of the bKash agents opposite to the Police Staff College while they were returning to the office of AID distributor in Mirpur road no 14 at about 10:15am, said Zainul Abedin.
Quoting the victims general manager said as the two employees tried to resist, the muggers fired gunshots and fled the scene with the money, leaving them injured.
The injured were first taken to a local hospital and then shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the afternoon.
The DMCH authorities said Mosharraf received bullets in his two hands while Alamin in one hand.
Contacted, Assistant Commissioner (Pallabi Zone) of DMP Zakir Hossain said Kafrul thana police are trying to arrest the miscreants.
