Rangamati: An activist of Parbatya Chattagram Jana Samhati Samiti (PCJS, MN Larma) was shot to death by miscreants at his residence at Milonpur in Baghaichhari upazila on Sunday evening.

The deceased is Suren Bikash Chakma alias Daktar.

Locals said a group of criminals stormed the house of Suren around 7:30pm and opened fire at him from a close range.

The assailants left the place after ensuring his death.

Officer-in-charge of Baghaichhari Police Station Amir Hossain said they heard about the incident.
