Two ‘drug traders’ killed in Dhaka, N’ganj ‘gunfights’
Dhaka: Two suspected drug traders were killed in separate gunfights with members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Mirpur of the city and Narayanganj early Tuesday.
In Dhaka, suspected drug trader Ibrahim Pilot Babu, 35, was killed in a reported gunfight with the elite force members in Beribad area around 4:00am, reports the UNB.
RAB members also recovered arms, bullet and a huge quantity of drugs from the spot.
In Narayanganj, Nadim, 25, a suspected notorious drug trader was killed in a reported gunfight with RAB members in Rupganj around 2:30am.
Sources at the RAB headquarters confirmed the incidents.
