Railway minister falls ill in Parliament
Parliament Building: Railways Minister Mazibul Hoque was hospitalised on Monday after fell ill during the question-answer session in Parliament.
The minister was admitted to Square Hospitals Limited in the evening, said chief medical officer of Parliament Dr Rafiq Rahman.
He said Mazibul was given primary treatment in the House after he fell sick and subsequently taken to the Square Hospital.
Quoting doctors at the hospital, public relations officer of the Railways Ministry Shariful Alam said there is nothing to be worried, reports United News of Bangladesh.
The minister fell sick while answering a question from a lawmaker when the sitting of the House for Monday resumed after the maghrib recession.
Later, Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim and Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya brought him to the lobby of the House.
